How do I install Triax on my handheld?

When you download the free demo version, you will get a zipfile. This zip file needs to be unzipped (you can use pkunzip or winzip if you have them, or any of a number of file unzip programs)

You will find 4 files.

Readme.txt

TRIAX_xxxxx.Cab
(the xxxx part will indicate which type of handheld the file is for)

TRIAX.INI

Setup.exe

There are TWO ways you can install TRIAX onto your handheld.

Option 1: Run the Setup.exe in the same directory as the other files. This will invoke ActiveSync, and install the files onto your connected handheld device. After installation, you will find the TRIAX icon on your handheld, under the GAMES menu.

Option 2: You can alternately manually copy the TRIAX_xxxxx.Cab file to your device. Once you do this, you need to click on that file from your handheld device. This will launch the installation on your handheld.

Where can I find find the Triax ICON on my handheld?

Click the Start Button, then the Games menu. Triax should have an icon there, after installation.

Why doesn't Triax work on other devices?

TRIAX will be released for other handheld devices shortly.

TRIAX will next be released for devices with 640x240 screens and the following platforms:

HPC 2000 MIPS
HPC PRO 2.11 ARM
HPC PRO 2.11 MIPS
HPC PRO 2.11 SH3
HPC PRO 2.11 SH4
HPC PRO 2.11 SH3

Then it will be re-arranged a little to fit on the screens of Pocket PC devices.

I bought an activation code, but had to reinstall TRIAX and my code doesnt work, what do I do?

Simply email us with your name and new 'Key' that Triax is giving you, and your old activation code. We will email you your new activation code!
